Shannon Mixer, a mother in Lake County, was arrested after leaving her baby in the car while she went to the grocery and liquor store. She thought the baby would be fine because she left the A/C on but officers report the air conditioning in the car did not seem to be functioning. She told officers that she has done this on 6 other occasions.
According to investigators she went to LJ’s Lounge & Package for liquor and then to Publix. She was gone for ~20 minutes. She is charged with child neglect and has bonded out. What do you think?
